Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein Review

Optimum's 100 Whey is by far one of my favorite whey protein powders. It may not have the highest quality proteins - it is just a whey protein concentrate after all - but it gives the biggest bang for the buck, and I can't say enough about how easy it's mixed and its great taste.

Optimum has recently reformulated their 100 Whey protein and added some whey protein isolate in as well. I haven't tried the new one yet, but I will soon, once my current supply of 20lbs of this stuff runs out. ;-)

if anyone is into cars the best thing said for 100% whey is its the best bang for the buck. Its not the best nor the worst but its a decent protein supplement and its cheap! Too bad there's no casein in it that would be dope as hell.

I'd recommend this brand, also. It's cheap, and mixes very well in milk, and you don't need a blender -- just a spoon. Very few lumps, if any. And the vanilla tastes good.

100% Whey User Review

I just recently got a 5lb optimum nutrition 100 whey protein and I think its pretty good. Im trying to lose weight and get my muscles in better shape also so I figured maybe i could have a shake after workouts or whatever. Anyway I expected it to taste really nasty and be very very grainy and lumpy like some soy protein shakes I've tasted before.

It was exactly the opposite, the flavor (chocolate) was actually very milkshake-y tasting and had a good aftertaste and it mixed well into water and skim milk. I give this protein a thumbs up the only problem I had with it was having to dig to the bottom for the scoop when I first opened it. Hope this helps
